^ HOLLY & WINSTON ^
NOW PENDING ADOPTION - TOGETHER!
Hi, we’re Holly and Winston, German Shepherd mix puppies. We are approximately 6 months old and weigh a little over 35 lbs.
We have had a very tough start in life, as we were orphaned way too young. Having each other to play and tumble with as well as an older female dog to mother us has helped us learn the ways of the world. Since we are already in a home, we are well on our way!
Holly - My foster mom says I have a wonderful disposition, and will learn very quickly. I am VERY smart and super sweet. I am already learning housetraining. I am the calmer of the two pups, but it is an intelligent calm. I snuggle when picked up. I am very sure of myself, and have a gentle strong will and will work to figure out how to get what I want. I am a great problem solver, and once I learn something I do not forget. I sit extra pretty to get a treat! My pictures do not begin to show how beautiful and expressive I am.
Winston, Winnie for short. I am a love bug! I am sweet and very affectionate. I light up when I am called, bound in for a hug, and wiggle all over. My foster mom describes me as “bounce to the ounce” I come out of my crate in the morning with a zest for life, and promise to make you smile when you look at my adorable face with my ears flopping as I run. I am alert and curious and want to explore everything.
We are living with a foster family in Philadelphia and are now on a schedule for sleep, play and eating. We will need someone who has time to continue with a routine as it us makes me feel safe to know what is next. We have already learned to sit and give paw. When we are fed and have had enough exercise we settle in our crate and are content to watch while foster mom does her chores.
We are very close, we cuddle closely at night to sleep which calms us, and need to play and wrestle to strengthen our muscles. We would love to stay together, but would do fine if separated as there is another dog in the home and someone who has the time to give us lots of hugs and has plenty of time to play.
We are spayed and neutered, dewormed, and up to date an all shots, just waiting for a loving home that has time and space for a puppy... or two !

![]() ![]() ![]() | <-- DAISY Hi, I’m Daisy! I'm a 1 year old female pup - probably a shepherd / staffie mix. I was found as a stray and taken to animal control where I was almost gassed due to lack of space! Fortunately, Thunder's Angels realized how much of a sweetheart I am and they saved my life! I'm in foster care right now and am ready for my forever home! My foster mom nicknamed me 'Crazy Daisy' because I'm such a silly girl! I love wiggling around on my back like a worm begging for belly rubs and whenever you sit down you better be ready for a smooch – giving kisses is my job!<? I have an amazing temperament and I just love people. I'm quiet when left alone and have no separation anxiety at all. I am fully housetrained and learning leash manners (I do pretty well with a harness). I've been exposed to other dogs while in foster care and I love playing with the medium/large ones. Very small dogs (under 20lbs) and cats are not recommended because I can play a little rough sometimes. As you can tell from my video, I'd really like to go to a home with another doggie friend to play with me! I'm an active dog but not very high energy - I do fine with just one walk each day. At night I get tired and love curling up with you on the couch to watch TV. I'm seeking a fenced yard where I can play my favorite game (fetch). No electric fences please. When I first arrived in foster care I had no manners and would jump like crazy with excitement when I met people. But with just a week of positive reinforcement I learned to sit when I meet someone and then I get petted. I’m so eager to please and very smart so I'm easy to train. I'm very much like a puppy – so playful and loving. I thrive on attention from people and will be a great addition to any family! And as you can tell from my pictures, I love kids too! OLIVER --> Hi, my name is Oliver. I'm a 60 lb 1.5 year old gentle boxer mix. People say I look like a little brown weimaraner because I have light hazel/yellow eyes with such a sweet human like expression. I also have the softest fur for a short haired dog -- I feel like a puppy! My previous owners were sad to see me leave, but they couldn't keep me because they didn't have enough time for me. Everyone agrees that I'm a super dog and a loyal friend who really deserves a permanent home with someone who has time to play with me and snuggle with me. Will you be my family? Right now, I'm in foster care and I live with another dog my size and a cat. I'm looking for someone to love me and keep me forever. I love to share toys and play with other dogs. I won't even eat my food until the other dog I live with has his food too; I'm such a gentleman. I'm submissive with other dogs so I'd be a great companion for another friendly dog. I love every person I meet, although I am little scared by young children. I'm welcoming to all house guests, but I'm also an excellent watch dog because I let my foster Mom know when someone is coming near the house uninvited. I'm cat friendly -- my foster mom's cat popped me in the nose when I got too close to him, and I didn't even get mad; I guess he just didn't want to play with me. I'm house trained and I walk on a leash without too much pulling. I'd make a good running partner because I don't get easily distracted and I stay in line when on my leash. Oh yeah, I love to go to the park too! I don't know a lot of commands yet, but I always come when I'm called. I'd love to learn some new tricks from you. I’m neutered and up to date on vaccines. <-- BUDDY Hi, I’m Buddy! I’m a male black lab mix. I have a white muzzle but don't let that fool you into thinking I'm old - it's just my coloring - the vet estimates that I'm only 1 or 2 years old. I was found as a stray in North Carolina. Animal control picked me up and almost killed me in the gas chamber due to lack of space but fortunately Thunder’s Angels saw what a loving dog I was and they saved me! I’m now being fostered in the Philly suburbs while I await my forever home. I’m a very affectionate and happy dog and I have the most beautiful coat! My fur is silky smooth! I LOVE all people and get along with almost every dog I meet. I'm currently living with a cat too but I sometimes try to chase her so a home without cats or other very small animals is not recommended. I’m housetrained and learning basic commands (like 'sit' and 'stay') and leash manners. I don't like being crated so I'll do best with someone who will only use baby gates when I need to be confined -- this shouldn't be much of an issue though since I'm already housetrained. I’m neutered and up to date on vaccines. My foster mom says I'm the sweetest dog ever! Can you HELP SAVE ME? I'll love you forever! |

PENDING ADOPTION! BUDDY --> Hi! My name is Buddy and I would love to be your best buddy. I am a super happy, well behaved, and totally loving guy! I am a black lab mix, between 6 months and a year old, about 45 pounds and I am neutered. I started out in North Carolina where I was found as a stray. I was then taken to a shelter where Thunders Angels found me just in time and recognized my outgoing, friendly personality. I love to play with other dogs. At my foster home, I get along great with my foster parent's big dogs and her puppies! I love my foster moms kids, especially when they hug me and I roll on my belly for a rub! I am working hard learning to walk on my leash, and doing better everyday! I especially love to be outside. I play all afternoon in my foster mom's big yard with my new friends! I also like to lounge and relax in the grass and rest. I am crate trained, but i'm so super well behaved and housebroken, I really don't even need to go in it, but I like to sleep and nap in my crate with the door open! My foster mom says I am the nicest boy around. Since the day I came to her I have been an angel! I go to the door when I need to do my business especially right after breakfast and dinner. Please consider adopting me- I will give you lots of love in return! | ![]() ![]() |

PENDING ADOPTION! EMMA --> Hi my name is Emma! I’m a female puppy (about 4 months old). I am probably a Lab/Setter mix and I weigh about 30 lbs. I am a very beautiful little girl with silky soft fur! I am white, with brown spots. I am the only pup in the litter with a brown circle around my eye, which makes me even more special! I love to play with my other litter mates, but I also enjoy just lounging around! I get along fine with my foster mom's other dogs and I love people - I absolutely loved to be held and cuddled!! I am the sweetest puppy in the litter! I am learning potty training and doing very well. I go for a walk on my leash everyday and I am learning to walk nicely. I like to sleep and nap in my big crate with my dog bed, but I prefer the door of my crate to be open. I am very calm, yet playful. I love to be outside during the day to run and play in my foster mom's big backyard and I love to lounge and relax on my dog bed. Because I am a puppy, I like to chew, but I have lots of chew toys to occupy me. I would do well in a home with calm children and I would be happy in a home with other doggie playmates, but I would also be fine being the only dog. Please consider giving me the loving home I deserve! I will bring you happiness and unconditional love in return! | ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | <-- RENEE! Hi, I’m Renee! I’m a 4 month old, spayed female. I weigh about 25 lbs and am probably a chocolate lab/shep/pit mix. Not only am I beautiful, but I’m such a nice girl too! Don't you love my one floppy ear? When I first met my new foster family, I rolled over and wagged my tail immediately - as if I was saying thank you! I’m a total love bug! I love giving kisses and will sit right next to you in such a sweet and peaceful manner! I am great on a leash and I listen very well – I’m almost completely housebroken after only being in foster care for a week - quite an accomplishment for such a young girl! I like my crate when the door is left open and even though I’m a puppy, I sleep through the night. I love to roll in a ball under my blankets! I get along with all people and I socialize well with calm and submissive dogs when properly introduced. I’m great with children who are calm and gentle and I would probably do best in a home with kids over 5 years old. I love to play and roll in the grass outside so I’d really like to go to a home with a fenced yard to play in! Like most puppies, I still occasionally nip and/or jump, but I will stop when you tell me ‘No’. I don’t chew things that I’m not supposed to, as long as I have some toys to keep me occupied! I will be a great addition to your home – whether you’re a single person or a big family – as long as you have some time to spend playing with and loving me, I won’t let you down! I’m VERY eager to please! Won't you consider giving me a forever home so that I can fill your life with much happiness and gratitude!? How could you resist this little chocolate face? |

HUNTER --> Hi, I'm Hunter (my foster family calls me Bruno). I'm a young 3-4 month old male boxer puppy. | ![]() |

![]() | <-- TAZ Hi, I'm Taz! Yep, as in the Tasmanian devil, that whirling bundle of energy. But I'm nowhere near a devil, more like a little angel! I want so badly to please you, I really do. I'm a small dog, only about 30lbs and cute as a button! I love all people (even the young children that I'm currently living with) and I get along great with other dogs too. I'm such a good boy, I even do okay with cats! I'm very playful when I'm outside in the yard - I currently live with 4 other dogs and we play all day with rawhides, bouncy balls and rope today - but I'm also gentle when I need to be too. I like snuggling up into my blanket at night and giving kisses to the senior (deaf) dog I'm living with. I'm housetrained and I know how to sit and give paw! I'm still a puppy at heart so my foster mom is teaching me not to jump on new people when I get excited and I'm doing pretty well so far! I bark at normal stuff - people walking by, the mailman, etc. I have not shown ANY bad behaviors like grumbles, growls, etc. toward people, kids, dogs, or the resident cat AT ALL! I am always very friendly when people come in the door and fenced yard, too! My mom says I would be good at agility or Frisbee. I am super athletic and smart too! I am NOT a couch potato (I can be when I am tired though!) and need lots of exercise and interaction. Are you looking for a an active, four-legged friend to run and play with you? Then look no further, I'm your man! I am neutered, dewormed, and fully vaccinated and seeking a foster or adoptive home. C'mon, wanna go play Frisbee?? |

COOPER --> Hi I’m Cooper! I was saved from the gas chamber and now I’m looking for a forever home. I’m a young male Rat Terrier, probably about 1 year old. I get along with other dogs and children. I’m good on walks and I sleep well through the night. I do not like to be crated and I can climb over gates so I need a home with people who are not going to want to confine me. I also don’t like the outdoors very much so I would be fine to live in a condo or townhouse. I’m a fairly calm guy and I love being a couch potato during the day. I also love eating mini carrots and chewing on nylabones. Can you HELP SAVE ME?

![]() ![]() | <-- LITTLE BIT Hi, my name is Little Bit and I'm a very sweet female fox terrier or Jack Russell terrier mix, probably around 3 years old. I weigh 22 pounds.
I am extremely loving and affectionate. My foster mom calls me a velcro dog because I follow her around all the time! I am very well behaved in the house and in the car. I have never made a sound since I've been in foster care.

BABY DAISY --> Hi, I’m Baby Daisy! I’m a female border collie mix puppy, about 10 weeks old. I’m a typical puppy – I love to run, jump, chew, and play with toys. I love wrestling with other dogs too. I’m very smart and extremely affectionate. I have already learned "sit" and "go potty”. I’ll be a great addition to any family. Because of my breed, I’ll do best in a home without very young children and with lots of space (a fenced yard) to run in! Can you HELP SAVE ME? |
