Thunder's Angels
Dog Rescue
Each day about 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. As compared to approximately 10,000 humans born each day, with birth rates this high, no matter how many rescues exist, there will never be enough homes for these animals.
An unspayed female dog, her mate, and her puppies, if all are left unaltered, can create:
61% of all dogs and 76% of all cats who enter public shelters this year will be killed.
*25% of those animals are purebred
By spaying/neutering, you won't only be saving the lives of shelter animals, you will also be making your pets life better by:
~ Eliminating the risk of testicular
tumors and reducing prostate
problems in males.
~ Eliminating the risk of mammary
tumors and ovarian and uterine
cancer in females.
~ Reducing the urge to roam and making it less likely that your animal will get lost, contract a disease, and/or become injured due to cruelty, poison, or a traffic accident.
~ Eliminating the discomfort, distress, and distraction associated with the drive to find a mate, making your animal a happier, more content, better companion.
~ Reducing marking behavior (territorial spraying of urine) in the home and yard in males.
~ Eliminating the mess and stress of a heat cycle in females.
