ABOUT US:

Thunder’s Angels is the legacy of an amazing, intelligent, charismatic dog named Thunder who passed

away July 31, 2008 after 12 cherished years of life. 

 

Thunder had an insatiable zest within him but was very picky too—he loved only three things, but he

loved them more than any other dog probably ever has: his green ball, rides in the car and eating were

all that Thunder needed to keep smiling. 

 

The organization was founded by two people who had the pleasure of sharing in Thunder’s life and

because of him, their lives were forever changed.  Thunder opened up their eyes to the fact that

all animals are thinking, feeling beings who have their own interests and needs, just like people. 

 

Thanks to Thunder:

~ We will forever work to rescue animals that we find in dire need;

~ We will continue to push for legislation reform that results in strengthened animal protection   

   and strict punishment for abusers; and

~ We will persistently educate others about the importance of compassion.

Please keep in mind that while we are dedicated to the organization, we are only volunteers—we work regular day jobs and then maintain the rescue in the spare time we have during the evening.  Because of this, we can sometimes get back-logged on our correspondence so it may take a few days to answer your request.
