Dog Rescue

This page is typically reserved for urgent dogs in danger of being gassed and/or dogs within our rescue that need special livesaving donations. However, Thunder's Angels is in the process of restructuring so we are not currently posting urgent dogs like we had in the past. We are still in operation, saving dogs and conducting adoptions but will be doing so on a smaller scale until our restructuring is complete.

As an organization we are beginning to focus our efforts on what we believe is the most effecient and effective way to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals -- spaying and neutering. In addition to our rescue efforts, we hope to have a fully operational mobile spay/neuter clinic open within the next 3 years to serve low-income families that can otherwise not afford to alter their dogs and cats. This will take a lot of planning, and most importantly, a lot of funding. We are working diligently behind the scenes to develop a business plan for the clinic, research grants, and plan private fundraising events. We feel a clinic is the most imporant thing to focus on due to the massive animal overpopulation problem that causes so many animals to be placed into shelters -- we will be in need of volunteers, fundraising and support to make this a reality and a success!
