ABOUT US:

Thunders Angels is the legacy of an amazing, intelligent, charismatic dog named Thunder who passed away July 31, 2008 after 12 cherished years of life.

Thunder had an insatiable zest within him but was very picky too -- he loved only three things, but he loved them more than any other dog probably ever has: his green ball, rides in the car and eating good food were all that Thunder needed to keep smiling.

Thunder's Angels Dog Rescue was founded by two people who had the pleasure of sharing in Thunder's life and because of him, their lives were forever changed. Thunder opened up their eyes to the fact that all animals are thinking, feeling beings who have their own interests and needs, just like people.

Thanks to Thunder:

~ We will forever work to rescue animals that we find in dire need;

~ We are founded as a vegan organization and will continue to push for legislation reform that results in strengthened animal protection and strict punishment for abusers of all animals; and

~ We will persistently educate others about the importance of compassion.
